You all know by now that Bill “Bubba” Clinton has managed to secure the release of the two American reporters jailed in North Korea.

That’s good news (and I look forward to Fox News’ coverage on how Bill’s success proves he’s a Commie-appeasing traitor using his insidious and deep personal ties with Kim Jong-Il to call in a favor, or he only did it because the reporters were babes, etc).

But while I’m glad the reporters are going home, the whole trip was really worth it so that we could have this awesomely surreal Olan Mills photo-op.

Bill Clinton let it be known that he had surreptitiously entered North Korea with a box of cigars and a wardrobe full of blue dresses...the Koreans moved to get him out of there as quickly as possible to protect the virtue of their Communist maidens from his legendary Democratism.

Wait, you mean we have/had Presidents that could actually work deals through diplomacy? Really? You mean to tell me that the Bush Doctrine was a failure??

Although the report is unconfirmed, word is that Bill went out of his way to send condolences to Kim when his father died and apparently those kinds of things score points with people and gets people pardoned and released. Who knew?
