BRINGING A GUN TO A KNIFE FIGHT

ITEM: Currently making the rounds on the InterTubes: this school video demonstrating how school dress codes against baggy clothing saves lives. Because lookit how many guns you can stash in a pair of baggy pants.
Of course, if you REALLY had that many guns in yr pants, you’d be walking so oddly that pretty much everyone would know you were packing, to include (hopefully) the security guards. Plus, no respectable “gangsta” would be caught dead with those tiny little guns.
But okay, point made: if you only wanted to travel light (a TEC-9 and a back-up Glock, say), loose clothing are an asset.
On the other hand, the anti-baggy dress code is pretty much useless against carrying high-quality knives – as these young men demonstrate.
Oh snap!
But hey, no guns. Progress!
Either way, I’m pretty convinced some bright spark with an NRA membership could find a way to fit a gun into that ensemble long before they started resorting to things like, say, guns disguised as cell phones. Certainly the female students shouldn’t have much trouble smuggling firearms (for personal use or for boyfriends) if they accessorize properly.
Of course, there’s one dress code option they haven’t tried yet ...
CONCLUSION: Dress codes are still bullshit.
Bang bang (I got mine),
This is dF
