Meanwhile, the Interwub is abuzz over the mysterious return of George W Bush in Minnesota.

The answer here at Team Def is, of course, a unanimous FUCK NO.
But admit it. It’s a great billboard idea. I’m sure plenty of Demos secretly wish they’d thought of it (only with a Clinton photo) back when Dubya was president (though of course by the end of his first year, putting up a sign like that would be denounced as treason and everyone at Fox News would be demanding that the people behind it be identified and arrested).
In this case, the billboard is from “a group of small business owners who feel like Washington is against them”. Which probably puts them in the Tea Party camp. If so, it’s the first genuinely good sign they’ve ever come up with – it beats drawing Hitler mustaches on Obama’s face.
Or things like this.
Of course, for people like me it is jarring to think that anyone still longs for the Glory Years of GWB apart from close friends, the filthy rich and Halliburton employees. Then again, it’s not like his approval ratings were zero. At least a quarter of the country still loved him. And even Nixon still has his fans.
Which just goes to show you can rationalize anything given enough time.
The bitch is back,
This is dF
