... is now officially a street in Derby.



Which is what you get when you leave new street names up to an Internet poll.

All streets should be named this way. And why not? We already have at least one street named after a Twitter account. The possibilities are endless, really.

FUN FACT: Lara Croft isn’t the first fictional character to have a street named after her. Winnie the Pooh has his own street in Warsaw.

And if you visit Ottawa, it’s possible to stand on the corner of Mulder and Scully.

There may be others, but I’ll be goddamned and dipped in jam if I’m going to sit up all night Googling them for you. Sorry.
