Amusingly, I didn’t notice it until I was about to check out. (In my defense, I didn’t touch the guide my entire stay.)
I left it where it was, partly because I needed to check out, and partly because I didn’t want to touch it, as I’m not 100% sure what’s serving as adhesive.
It does make me wonder just how long it’s been there, and if previous guests made the same decisions as me.
FUN FACT: This is a four-star hotel, incidentally.
