DRM WARNING: The Bloc Party track may or may not work on some players. When I tried to import it into my sound editor, it would only do so at half the bit-rate – the effect of which was like playing it on a turntable at half-speed. I fixed it for the mix session, but I've seen this kind of thing before, where there's no obvious DRM on a track but the record company still monkeys with it a little to limit what you can do with it. And so the CIA can track you. Obviously.

STOP MAKING LISTS

Continuing our coverage of end-of-2007 lists, you should know that bedsitter23 has posted his Top Albums of 2007, and Mr Cat Taylor has posted his Top 10 Films Of 2007 and his “all six albums I bought in 2007” list, which is also recommended for his rant view on the Music Download Age.

And that wraps up our coverage, I think, since the only year-end lists I have left are the Top 10 Worst Song Lyrics Of 2007 (which is not only subjective, but also mostly contains songs I’ve never even heard) and the Top 20 Innovative Underwear and Lingerie Trends in 2007, which isn’t all that innovative. Except for the Wine Rack bra, maybe.
