TEMPLES OF LOVE

defrogYesterday I managed to take a stroll down Serangoon Road in Singapore’s Little India to see what I could see. I promised you photos. Here they are.
Those are two Hindu temples and two Buddhist temples. Specifically:
1. Sri Srinivasa Perumal temple [top left]
2. Leong San See Temple (or "Dragon Mountain Gate Temple") [top right]
3. Sakya Muni Buddha Gaya Temple (or “Temple of 1,000 Lights”) [bottom left]
4. Sri Vadapathira Kaliamman Temple [bottom right]
You can probably Google any of those to get better pictures than what I was able to get on my Nokia N95. In any case, click on the image if you want to see all the pics in the series.
Which, incidentally, also includes this:
That’s the entrance to the Green Garden Bar and Restaurant – clearly where all the hot Amazon disco babes go.
I thought I was imagining it at first – a strange by-product of the Irish coffee I'd had at lunch. I wonder if they put that there to fool passers-by into thinking there were two disco babes waiting to get in. I also wonder if it actually works.
