ITEM: Not to blather on about Sarah “America’s Hottest Governor” Palin, but if yr looking for an administration that will bring real change to Washington by, say, refusing to politicize science and cherry-pick it to suit yr agenda, then McCain/Palin may not be what yr looking for.
EXHIBIT A: Palin has ignored research showing that polar bear populations are declining in the quest to plumb new sources of energy. In fact, she’s sued the Interior Department for putting polar bears on the endangered species list, on the grounds that (1) polar bear populations have been rising (they haven’t) and (2) protecting them would restrict oil and natural gas development.
EXHIBIT B: Palin says “the jury’s still out” on global warming. In an interview released by Newsmax, Palin said that while she recognized her state would be affected by climate change, that didn't mean humans are responsible.
EXHIBIT C: Palin wants creationism taught in science classes, even though it’s not science.
McCain/Palin 2008: More of the same, only different.
