EURODISCO #2: BIG IN BAVARIA
Aug. 7th, 2009 05:35 pmWhen I lived in Bavaria in West Germany in the mid-80s (which is also where I learned to love teh Europops), I listened to a lot of Bayern Drei (Bavarian Radio 3). So I heard quite a bit of Nicki.
Specifically, her current single at the time, “Wenn i mit Dir Tanz” (If I Dance With You)”.
I think the roller-rink organ is what sold me. And I still like it. I probably still have the cassette of the album somewhere.

EURODISCO #1: RITA’S IN LOVE

If it’s MY head, anyway.
Which gets me to thinking how I haven’t inflicted my love of cheesy Europop on you lot nearly enough. So you’ll be seeing some more stuff like this in the coming weeks. Though not necessarily a lot of it. There’s certainly at least four or five more of these I could do before I start relying on Falco videos.
