Continuing our A/V countdown to teh Halloweens, it’s only fair to follow up Screaming Lord Sutch with Alice Cooper. And since he’s kind of an obvious choice, we might as well show him performing “The Black Widow” – with special guest star Vincent Price!
If you don’t care for spider imagery (which I don’t, although there’s no real spiders in the video, apart from dancers in silly black widow costumes), we also have Cooper performing “Welcome To My Nightmare” with muppets.
FUN FACT: The “Black Widow” footage is from a 1975 ABC-TV special Cooper made to promote the album Welcome To My Nightmare. It won an Emmy, you know.

Oh, and while we’re here, could someone tell John McCain that constantly calling Barack Obama a “socialist” makes him sound older than he looks? And while yr at it, tell him that if Obama qualifies as a socialist, then so does McCain’s greatest American hero, Teddy “Ivan” Roosevelt.
